On 6 May, the Shaanxi Channel of the People's Daily app published a report stating that the Chonghuang Jia Yuan Resettlement Building Project in the Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone was fully topped out on 30 April and is expected to be fully completed by the end of December this year.

The Chonghuang Jia Yuan project is located in the Jingwei New Town of the Xi'an Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is a key livelihood project for the city and district aimed at ensuring the return of displaced residents, and also the largest single-phase resettlement housing project in Shaanxi Province. The project covers an area of 206.8 mu (approximately 13.7 hectares) with a planned construction area of approximately 560,000 square metres, comprising 20 residential buildings.

Chonghuang Jia Yuan is part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development's first batch of urban village renovation projects for 2024 and a key ‘resettlement guarantee’ project in Xi'an. The contractor is the well-known enterprise China Communications First Highway Engineering Group.
